The Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder has been launched at Rs. 4.1 crore ex-showroom. The Spyder joins the Huracan EVO Coupe that was launched in India in February this year.
The Huracan EVO Spyder is powered by the same 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that develops 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 600 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. It does the 0 to 100 kph sprint in just 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 325 kph. ) to 200 kph comes up in 9.3 seconds. The engine is mated to a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox that sends power to all four wheels of the Huracan EVO Spyder. Other features include the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) chassis control system, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring system like its coupe stable mate.
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder comes with a retractable soft top that can be opened or closed in 17 seconds at speeds of upto 50 kph. There are automatic pop-up rollover bars are placed behind the seats, and the rear window can be retracted electrically as well. The Spyder gets a revised engine cover as opposed to the coupe. The Spyder’s soft-top roof mechanism also makes it 120kg heavier than the Huracan Evo Coupe.
The Lamborghini Mumbai dealership, Infinity Cars also inaugurated their new showroom at Prabhadevi on occasion of the Spyder launch. Lamborghini has had a great year in India so far. The car maker delivered the 50th Urus SUV as well as the only Aventador SVJ63 in the country.
