Jeep Compass Trailhawk Interior
On the inside, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk gets an all black cabin, a major difference from the standard version. The beige would be a big task to clean up after a hardcore off-roading session so the black is a welcome change. There are a number of red accents in the interior, on the instrument cluster cover, around the automatic gear lever and the door pads around the speakers. Fit and finish is top notch and there are lots of soft touch materials round. The seats are comfortable with good cushioning and feature red contrast stitching as well. Other features include a 7.0 inch MID display, auto start/stop for the engine, bi-xenon headlamps, dual zone climate control, keyless go, 8.4 inch touch screen infotainment with navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay etc. The Trailhawk also gets cruise control which gives the steering wheel a complete look. The blank buttons on the regular Compass steering were quite an eye sore. However, there is a lot of equipment that the Trailhawk misses out on. There are no auto headlamps, no powered driver’s seat, rain sensing wipers and the panoramic sunroof is optional. The reason for these omissions could be to keep the price competitive. Other positives like ample stowage spaces and large boot with 60:40 rear seat spilt continue from the standard Compass.
