The all electric Jaguar I-Pace has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 1.06 core ex showroom India. It will be on sale as a fully imported CBU.
The Jaguar I-PACE is powered by a 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery and two electric motors that develop 400 horsepower and goes from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.8 seconds. The I-PACE will be offered in three variants that include S, SE, and HSE.
The 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery of the I-PACE comes with an 8 years or 160 000 km warranty. Additionally, I-PACE customers will get complimentary 5 years service package, 5 years Jaguar Roadside Assistance as well as a 7.4 kW AC wall mounted charger that can be installed at the customer’s preferred location.
Features of the Jaguar I-Pace across the variants include a 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, Pivi Pro Infotainment system for the first time in a Jaguar, ClearSight Rear view mirror, wireless charging pad, LED headlamps and tail lamps, 19 inch alloy wheels, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 16 speaker Meridian sound system etc.
Jaguar Land Rover already tied-up with Tata Power to provide office and home charging solutions to customers of the I-PACE. Further, Tata Power as part of its ‘EZ Charge’ EV Charging network, has installed 200+ charging points across the country. These are present at convenient locations like malls, restaurants, offices, residential complexes and along the highways. Jaguar customers will have access to this fast expanding ‘EZ Charge’ EV Charging network of Tata Power.
The I-Pace will rival the Mercedes-Benz EQC along with the soon to launch Audi e-Tron in the Indian market
