Ford Freestyle Verdict

Ford has managed to get the cross hatch recipe right. The Freestyle does come with a lot of strengths. There is lots of equipment on offer, safety kit is top notch and features strong petrol and diesel engines, the 1.2 petrol being very impressive. Additionally, it tackles bad roads with aplomb, has the handling that reeks of the Ford DNA and good ground clearance as well. Sure the interior could have been better but that’s not a deal breaker at all. An automatic gearbox is also missed considering the Indian buyer’s transition to ATs these days.  That said the Freestyle sits well between the Figo and the Ecosport in Ford’s model line-up. So if you are a driving enthusiast looking for a cross hatch, the Ford Freestyle ticks all the right boxes.
