Any doubts on what a hybrid Ferrari would drive like are thrown out my mind jut as fast as I was accelerating.

Ferrari 296 GTS Interior

Moving with the times, even Ferrari has gone digital when it comes to interiors. The instrument cluster is completely digital but at the same time Ferrari has tried to keep some traditional elements intact. Like the large centre tachometer. Sure its digital too but at the same times keeps things a little old school. The engine start stop button is digital too and is located at the bottom of the steering wheel. I cant help admit that I miss the large physical button. Just had more character. This digital one lacks a bit of emotion. The passenger side also gets a screen where he or she can see various parameters including the speeds the car is doing. Just adds to the experience. The 296 GTS doesn’t have a central  infotainment screen.

The centre console has gearbox functions with a layout inspired by Ferrari’s famous and legendary gated shifter and comes finished in chrome. The key itself is a work of art and resembles the hood ornament. There is a dedicated space on the centre console where it can be placed while you drive. Also as with all modern day Ferraris, all your functions are integrated into the steering wheel, just so that you don’t lose focus while driving. The seats are firm but offer adequate comfort. They do hug you in place when you let loose with the throttle.
