Here are the first ever undisguised photos of Hyundai’s upcoming hatchback that is set to launch during the festive season later this month. The photos of this new hatchback which is likely to be called the Santro was sent to us by a fan of Throttle-Blips. A big shout out to him.
From the pictures, it appears that the new car has large front grille with chrome surrounds and unique styled fog lamps. The headlamps appear large and the Orange shade seems similar to that on the Verna. The rear features wrap around headlamps along with a wiper on the rear windshield.
The interior spy shots reveal a touch screen infotainment system and two tone interiors. The AC vents have silver accents along with silver housing on the gear console as well. While this appears to be a manual, an AMT is also expected.
The new car is expected to be powered by an upgraded version of the original Santro Xing’s 1.1 litre engine. A BS VI emission norms compliant engine is also being worked on to be ready by the year 2020.
The new Hyundai hatchback will rival the Maruti Alto K10 and Tata Tiago in the Indian market.
