The Citroen C3 turbo is quick in the low end and mid-range. Will make the enthusiasts smile.
Citroen C3 Ride & Handling
The C3 features McPherson struts at the front and twist beams and coil springs at the rear. Ride quality is a high point of Citroen and its no different here. The C3 goes over potholes and bad roads without a sweat. Only large bumps are felt inside the cabin. Overall the ride is impressive.
The suspension set up shines in the handling department as well. I took the C3 through a whole bunch of twisties and not any moment did it feel unsettled. Body roll is also well controlled. While the 195 profile tyres are adequate, I would recommend an upsize, especially on the turbo petrol. It will made driving the C3 turbo even more fun and will give more grip. High speed stability is also excellent. The C3 comes with disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear. Braking is smooth and the car stops without too much effort. The turbo petrol gets additional braking power with bigger discs and a brake booster.
