BMW has officially revealed the 6-Series Gran Turismo. The BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo will replaced the 5-GT globally.
BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo Exterior
The BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo has been stretched in size over the car it replaces. It is 5,091 mm long and height has been reduced by 21 mm. The tail end is 64 mm lower than the 5-GT. On the exterior, the 6-GT features all LED headlamps along with a larger front grille. The car comes with frameless doors and wrap around tail lights.
BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo Interior
On the interior, the BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo gets a 10.25 inch screen for the iDrive system. The iDrive comes with voice and gesture control. Options include a semi autonomous driving system, heads-up display and electrically adjustable rear seats. Standard boot space is 610 litres that can go up to 1,800 litres with the rear seats folded down.
BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo Engines
The 6-GT will be offered with a choice of 3 engines. The 630i will feature a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine developing 258 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox and goes from 0 to 100 kph in 6.3 seconds. The 640i comes with a 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engine making 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. With the optional all wheel drive system, it does the 0 to 100 kph sprint in just 5.3 seconds.
The diesel 630d gets a 3.0 litre six cylinder diesel motoring churning out 265 horsepower and 620 Nm torque. It goes from 0 to 100 in 6.0 seconds with the all wheel drive system.
