On the inside, the cabin features an all black dashboard (we like this). Most of it comprises of hard plastics though. There’s a 7 inch TFT screen for the animated instrument cluster. There is a digital speedometer in the centre surrounded by the fuel gauge, tachometer, ‘Eco Index’ and temperature gauge. The TFT also doubles up as the parking sensor display. A camera is sorely missed because the view from the rear windshield isn’t that great while reversing. The black flat bottom steering wheel with a large Abarth logo is chunky and nice to hold. Paddles shifters are mounted behind the steering. There are Abarth Corsa sports seats by Sabelt finished in black leather and fabric. They feature a Scorpion logo on the headrest. The seats come with manual adjust for reach but height adjust is missing. The absence of the height adjust feature makes life a little difficult for short drivers, yours truly included. The split rear seats are only good for kids or to keep some luggage. The 595 loses the conventional AMT (or autobox) gear lever to make place for four buttons on the centre console that read 1, N, R and A/M. There is no auto climate control which is surprising, considering the price you are paying for this car. Other features include Blue & Me, audio system with USB, Aux and a CD Player and an electric sunroof. The 595 doesn’t come with a closing glovebox. Boot space is decent for the size. Contd…
