Audi has showcased the S3 Cabriolet at the Auto Expo 2016.
The S3 Cabriolet is powered by a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine that develops 300 horsepower and 380 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 7 speed S Tronic gearbox and is eqipped with Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system.
The S3 comprises of intelligent multi material construction where the occupant cell of the car is made up of high end steel while the bonnet is made of aluminium. The car has LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, LED rear tail lamps, light and rain sensors, heated exterior mirrors and a light weight automatic soft top with electrohydraulic drive.
The interior gets TT inspired jet turbine design AC vents with spot, diffuse function, dual zone climate control, Audi Phone box, sports seats in Nappa leather, MMI infotainment system with MMI Touch and navigation, Parking System plus with rear camera, Comfort Key, Auto Park Assist, leather wrapped flat bottom three spoke sports steering wheel with paddle shifters and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Audi currently sells the A3 sedan and the A3 Cabriolet in India.
