The much speculated Ferrari Dino will make its debut later in this decade according to reports.
The new car will be lighter and smaller than the 488 GTB and will feature an all-new platform largely using aluminum. The design will be inspired by the Pininfarina Sergio concept and will have classic Dino styling references.
Power will come from a 2.9 litre V6 engine that is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia motor but will be reworked to do duty in the Ferrari. According to Car Magazine, the engine will be offered in two states of tune: 450 bhp and 600 bhp.
The new engine will also power Ferraris of the future and an entry level California along with other sports cars is also expected to be powered by this power plant.
