The all new 5th generation Honda City has launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 10.90 lakh going up to Rs. 14.65 lakh ex showroom Delhi. The new City will be available in three variants: V, VX and ZX.
Talking about the exterior, the Honda City can be seen sporting a new design, with minor changes in its dimensions. This new model is 109 mm longer and 53 mm wider than the model it replaces. The wheelbase, at 2,600 mm remains unchanged, while the car is now 6 mm shorter in height.
Moving inside, Honda offers features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Weblink connectivity, electric sunroof, full LED illumination, auto-dimming IRVM, rear sunshade, hands-free boot release, keyless entry & go and the works. Additionally, you also get the Honda Connect feature which allows customers to have 32 additional connected features and Alexa remote capability.
The new HondaCity comes with the choice of BSVI compliant petrol and diesel engines. There is a new 1.5-litre petrol naturally aspirated motor developing 121 hp of power and 145 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 6 speed manual or a 7 step CVT gearbox.The 1.5-litre diesel, generating 100 hp and 200 Nm, will only be paired with a 6-speed stick shift.
The safety feature kit includes 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, stability control, rear parking camera, auto wipers, auto headlamps and a first in segment LaneWatch camera.
The new Honda City comes with a three year/unlimited km warranty as standard.
