Hyundai has teased first images of the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift that is set to launch in the coming days. The Verna facelift has already been unveiled for the global market. The facelifted Verna comes at a time when Honda is all set to launch the new generation City.
The Verna facelift comes with restyled LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, a large chrome cascading grille along with a redesigned front bumper. Viewed from the side it gets new design diamond cut alloy wheels. At the rear there is new bumper with a faux diffuser.
The feature list of the new Verna comprises of Digital Cluster, Front Ventilated Seats, Twin Tip Muffler design, Smart Trunk, Emergency Stop Signal, Wireless Charger, ECO coating, Luggage Net & Hooks, Rear USB Charger and Arkamys Premium Sound.
The Verna facelift will come with a set of all new BS VI compliant engines. The petrol options include a 1.5 litre unit mated to a 6 speed manual or an IVT (CVT ) automatic gearbox and a 1.0 T-GDI turbocharged motor mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Also available will be a new 1.5 litre turbo diesel with a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Expect the updated Verna to be a bit more expensive than the outgoing model. The New Verna will rival the all new Honda City and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the Indian market.
