The Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be launched in India on March 27, 2018.
The Evoque Convertible comes with a retractable fabric roof that closes in 18 seconds and raises in 21 seconds at upto speeds of 48 kph. It comes with with a layer of acoustic insulation ensuring interior comfort on a par with five-door hard top Evoque. The convertible has boot space of 251 litres.
On the interior, it gets n all-new, high-resolution 10.2-inch touchscreen with Jaguar Land Rover’s InControl Touch Pro. Other features include Terrain Response system, Wade Sensing and All-Terrain Progress Control.
The car comes fitted with a Roll-Over Protection Device featuring deployable roll-over bars hidden in the rear bodywork. It deploys two aluminium bars within 90 milliseconds in the unlikely event of a roll-over situation to create a survival space for occupants.
The Evoque convertible will be powered by a 2.0 litre Ingenium petrol engine that develops 240 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a nine speed automatic gearbox. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 8.1 seconds and has a top speed of 217 kph.
The Evoque Convertible will be available in the range topping HSE Dynamic trim level.
