Land Rover India has announced prices for the soon to launch Range Rover Velar. Ex showroom prices for the base 2.0 l diesel and 2.0 l petrol start at Rs. 78.83 lakh.

The Range Rover Velar will feature three engine options in India

2.0 l four cylinder diesel – 179 horsepower

2.0 l four cylinder petrol – 250 horsepower

3.0 l V6 diesel – 300 horsepower

All engines are mated to an eight speed ZF automatic gearbox and will come with four wheel drive as standard.

Each engine model has eight different variants on offer: Base, S, SE, HSE, R-Dynamic, R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE and the R-Dynamic HSE. The 3.0 diesel also gets a First Edition model.Features of the Range Rover Velar include Matrix LED headlamps, Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with 10-inch touchscreens, Hill Descent Control (HDC), the Terrain Response 2, adaptive air suspension, climate controlled front seats with memory function, six airbags and an active rear-locking e-differential.

Deliveries will commence from end January 2018.
