The Mahindra XUV500 petrol has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 15.49 lakh ex showroom Delhi. It is available in a single G variant.

The XUV500 petrol is powered by a 2.2 litre petrol engine that develops 140 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The motor is based on the same block that is the foundation for the company’s 2.2 litre mHawk diesel. The engine is mated to an AISIN six speed automatic gearbox. There is no manual gearbox as of now.

Features include a 7 inch touch screen infotainment system, Android Auto, cruise control, 8 way adjustable driver’s seat and push button start. SAfety features comprise of dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP with rollover mitigation.
