2021 Maruti Swift Verdict

Maruti has done well to plonk the new engine into the Swift. Power delivery is smoother than before and refinement levels are top notch. Low speed response is also better and it will also keep the ‘kitna deti hai?’ people happy. Still the first gen Swift was the most fun drive in my opinion. That said, all the strong points like a comfortable cabin, practicality, space and ease of maintenance remain. It may lose out on some features of its rivals, but the Swift brand itself is strong and aspirational and these updates have made it even more better. Even after all these years, the Swift remains a package that is a jack of all trades and a practical choice if you are looking a hassle free, no nonsense premium hatchback.
