After a mega show at the 2020 Auto Expo, Mercedes-Benz continues its product offensive and has launched the 2020 GLC Coupe in India. The Coupe will be locally produced at the car maker’s Chakan plant making it the 10th model from the Mercedes-Benz portfolio to be Made in India.

While the preface-lift GLC Coupe was only offered in only the AMG guise, the new model will be available with a set of BS VI compliant petrol and diesel engines. The GLC300 will be powered by a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine putting out 258hp and 370Nm of torque, while the GLC300d will feature a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel motor developing 245hp and 500Nm torque. Both engines are mated to a nine speed automatic gearbox and get the 4Matic all wheel drive system.

Coming to the feature list, the GLC Coupe gets multibeam LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, LED headlamps, diamond studded grille, 19 inch alloy wheels, 12.3 inch all digital instrument cluster, 64 colour ambient lighting, 10.25 inch touch screen with the new MBUX infotainment system featuring the Hey Mercedes voice command and an electric sunroof. Standard boot space is 500 litres that can go up to 1400 litres with the second row folded. The spare wheel is now tucked away into the boot floor.

The GLC300 Coupe is priced at Rs. 62.70 lakh and the GLC300d Coupe is priced at Rs. 63.70 lakh ex showroom respectively
