Jaguar XJ50 Interior

Once you step inside, the retro feel of the cabin feels really classy and attention to detail is fantastic. The trademark ‘Riva Loop’ gives the dashboard a wrap around feel. There is lots of wood trim and leather all around and the round AC vents looks fab. I love the analogue clock too. The 10-inch touch screen infotainment system with InControl Apps is crisp and easy to use but has started to show its age now. XJ50 highlights on the interior include a plaque on the centre of the loop showing the model name and place of birth, XJ50 logo embossed on the front central arm rest, anodized paddle shifters and sill plates with the XJ50 logo.  Other features include a twin sunroof and the superb sounding 825W Meridian sound system.

The front seats are like large thrones and are extremely comfortable. They can be adjusted in 18 different ways and feature heating, cooling and massage functions. The rear seats too get the same functions as the front seats and they can be reclined as well. Leg room is in abundance and headroom is not bad either considering the sloping roofline.  There are rear entertainment screens with wireless headphones but are controlled via a remote which feels outdated in today’s time and age. You get two foldable tray tables that have to be retracted manually.
